Description
As a follow-up to their popular Ghost line, Gurkha created the Ghost Gold. Their Ghost Gold Shadow is a medium-strength robusto that sheds some light on what a great cigar is all about. A natural Ecuadorian Habano wrapper surrounds the Ghost Gold’s Criollo binder, which houses U.S., Dominican, and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. The Gurkha Ghost Gold has a flavor profile consisting of spice, earth, and pepper for a medium to full-bodied smoking experience.

My favorite cigar. I've tried a lot of cigars. Premium, non-premium. Cuban, non-cuban. Every price point, every award winner, but this, this little $9 cigar is my NUMBER ONE. After a long series of hit and misses from Gurkha, I first tried a (regular) ghost in Thailand, where I was blown away by its dense pumes of smoke and great draw. But the gold ghost raises the bar, and creates a perfect balance of flavor, draw and smoke resulting in my absolute #1 stick. Every draw is heavenly, not too strong and not too weak, that goldilocks zone which allows you to decompress from a long day and just watch the world go by. This is everything I want in a cigar, and Neptune is one of the few places that consistently has stock. I'll forever be in your debt. Five stars.

This is a good new smoke form Gurkha. Nice draw, easy to light up, and tasty smoke, no doubt. Pairs well with strong coffee for a morning smoke.
